Our Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Below is a list of some the most common questions raised to us. We'll keep adding to this to help provide as much clarity as we can. Just click on a question to see our response.

Ordering

Can I get a box made for today?

If we’re in a position to do so, we will. Just give us a call on 0458 522 507 prior to 11 am to discuss.

Can I add a message to my order to pass on?

For sure. When you checkout there is a recipient message box on the payment page where you can add your message. Be sure to write in the message who the gift is from 😉 

Are you registered?

Absolutely! We work closely with our local council’s Environmental Health team to ensure our food is the safest it can be. To see our current council registration, please click here.

Are you insured?

We certainly are! For peace of mind, we hold a range of insurance policies, including public liability.

Can I turn up and get a box on request?

Due to the dynamic nature of our business, we don’t provide a walk-up service at this stage. Feel free to give us a call to discuss what you were hoping to get your hands on and we’ll see what we can do.

Do you send invoices with your orders?

All of our invoices are emailed electronically to the email address entered when ordering.

 

Please note: We will not provide recipients with invoices.

Bulk Orders - Can I send to multiple addresses?

Should you require a bulk order of 5 deliveries or more, please contact us to discuss. We can provide you with a bulk ordering form and once returned, we’ll provide you with a shipping quote.

Can I make a custom box?

We can often make small changes for boxes which doesn’t take away from the main structure of the box. E.g. Swapping out the pate’ for something else, replacing crackers, leaving out the alcohol, etc. 

Should you require something custom for a bulk order, please send us an email and we will be more than happy to create a quote for you.

If I collect my order the day before, will it be ok in the fridge until I need it?

Our boxes are made fresh daily. We recommend, that where possible, the order is placed for the day you wish to consume the food.

Should you be in a position where you will be receiving your platter the day before, please let us know in the comments. We will do our best to keep the crackers wrapped so they don’t soften due to moisture in the box.

Please note: Due to produce being cut / and meat being out of packaging, there may be slight discoloration (but still safe to eat) of the produce in the box if stored overnight.

Dietary Requirements

Can you do NUT FREE boxes for people with Anaphylaxis?

Whilst we will not put nuts deliberately into requested boxes, we don’t claim to be nut free due to nuts being used in our kitchen and in the kitchens of our suppliers.

 

Should your recipient or yourself be able to consume items listed with traces of nuts, then please let us know and we will prepare their box separately in a freshly cleaned area.

Do you do gluten free?

We can make many boxes that don’t contain substantial amounts of bread, gluten-friendly. Should you require a box, please reach out to us and we’ll discuss this with you prior to ordering.

 

Please note: We do not claim to be gluten-free due to the risk of contamination in the storage and production of our boxes. Be sure to carefully consider anyone who is claiming to be gluten-free due to this exact reason.

Do you cater for vegetarians?

We can make most of our boxes vegetarian, simply by replacing the meat sections with more fresh produce and different cheeses of similar value. Should you require a vegetarian box, please just let us know in the comments during checkout.

Delivery / Click and Collect

I've chosen the click and collect option. When will my order be ready?

If you have chosen click and collect, your order will be ready at the start of your timeslot. E.g. If you chose 9:30-12pm as your click and collect slot, we’ll have it ready to go for you at 9:30am.

What's the difference between a SELECT and FLEX delivery?

When choosing a courier service on Wednesday, Thursday & Friday, you have two options available:

  1. ‘Courier Select’ – This allows you to have your order delivered in a set timeslot either in the morning, mid or late afternoon. This is a great option when the order needs to be there by a set time.
  2. ‘Courier Flex’ – This is where we will deliver your order anytime during the day. This is a great option for gifting, or when you are happy to have your order delivered anywhere up until 5pm that afternoon.
What happens if my recipient isn't home?

There’s no need to worry if this occurs. Our drivers use insulated chill boxes that will keeps food safe for 12 hours. They’ll leave the order in a safe place, take a photo, and text you that it’s there so you can inform your recipient to check their doorstep.
